I offer yoga workshops for toddlers, children, teenagers
Children are under performance pressure and have a lot of after-school activities, are in a lot of WhatsApp groups... I don't need to tell you that, as fun and interesting as all this technology is, it doesn't exactly make your child calmer. Yoga can provide balance here with breathing exercises where they learn to find peace in their little bodies as well as physical yoga poses to keep the body strong and flexible.
So what is the difference between yoga for adults and children? Well, the approach is different by adding games and creative activities (images, singing, music, crafts, dancing...). Fun and play are at the forefront. During children's yoga, animals are the main focus (stretch like a dog = down dog (link to posture) or arch your back like a cat = cat & cow(link to posture). The yoga class usually starts with a theme from a story, a song, seasons...). The children work playfully on their self-confidence and (body) awareness.

I offer workshops for parent-child yoga at school
During a parent-child yoga the focus is on being together. You consciously make more time for each other by listening, feeling, experiencing, exploring each other's boundaries... In short, you get to know each other better. Parent-child yoga is fun and relaxation. You get on, under, over each other's bodies which increases your (self)confidence and strengthens the bond with each other.

During this yoga form, you will learn about yoga in a low-threshold way. The movements are simple, making the poses effortless. You move in a soft and flowing way to music, covering all aspects of yoga such as flexibility of the body (loosening up), energetic movements as well as meditative postures and breathing exercises. Chair yoga is suitable for everyone, regardless of age, flexibility and condition.
