Since childhood, I was fascinated by dance. I dreamt about my own dance school and believed in making this dream come true one day. A dance education was not an option at home but I continued to dance in my spare time. I am still very grateful to myself for that. Unconsciously, dancing and moving was my way as a child to communicate with my feelings. I could express myself without words. I experienced traumatic events as a child. Some things you can't put into words and certainly not as a child. My body gave me signals to move, flow and heal these traumatic experiences. I have been doing yoga for years but four years ago I started to delve more into the vision of yoga. So I started the yoga teacher training at Yogalife International. My intention for this training was to gain more insight into myself, my body, my mind and this in combination with energetic healings, coaching in personal development, inner child work. As the training evolved, I felt the urge to teach yoga. Since then, a lot has changed in my life. Yoga has changed my way of life little by little as well as the way I relate to other people. Thanks to Yoga, my body and senses have been strengthened. I started reading the book "Trauma Traces". Your body tells you a lot but can we listen? I experienced, and still experience, that yoga has a profound and long-lasting effect on the whole organism. It can only be effective if you actually do it, which is certainly not always easy, requires courage but is worthwhile. I have learned to connect with my body, understand what signals are and listen and act accordingly. So I really want to share my transformations and experiences. Through yoga, to help, experience and provide enlightenment for those who are open to this and willing to work on themselves.
Ik heb aan de lijve mogen ervaren, en ervaar het nog steeds, dat yoga een diepgaand en langdurig effect heeft op het hele organisme. Het kan ook alleen maar effectief zijn als je het ook werkelijk doet wat zeker niet altijd makkelijk is, moed vraagt maar de moeite waard is. Ik heb geleerd om in verbinding te komen met mijn lichaam, te begrijpen wat te signalen zijn en ernaar te luisteren en handelen.
Ik wil mijn transformaties en ervaringen dan ook heel graag delen. Via yoga helpen, laten ervaren en verlichting geven voor zij die hiervoor openstaan en bereidt zijn aan zichzelf te werken.
