The Power of Your Breath & YinYang Yoga
Saterday 14/03/2026
A day dedicated to breathing, feeling, and letting go.
Guided by breath coach Manu (inmeitrust.com) and yoga teacher Sabine, we combine breathwork, yin yoga, and deep relaxation.
The lungs — associated with the theme of letting go — form the red thread through this healing day.
START : 10am | END : 4:30pm
Schedule & Content
10:00 – 12:00 | Breath School – Theory, Breath Analysis & Exercises
Introduction to (dys)functional breathing
Your respiratory system and breath: physical, energetic, and emotional aspects
The effect of stress and the nervous system on your breath — and the other way around
The link between breathing and energy production
Breath analysis: individual observation of your natural breath (chest, diaphragm, belly)
Breath test: what is your current breathing state and pattern?
What if my breath feels “stuck”? What about asthma and hyperventilation?
Introduction to the Lungs & Large Intestine – Metal Element
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the lungs and large intestine form an energetic pair, connected to the metal element.
Metal symbolizes:
Purity, clarity, and structure
The ability to discern what nourishes vs. what burdens
Setting boundaries — physical, emotional, and energetic (saying “no” is an act of self-care)
Letting go of what no longer serves you
The Lungs (yin meridian):
Relate to breathing, receiving, inspiration
Help connect with your environment and your own center
Breath is the first thing we receive at birth and the last thing we release at death
The Large Intestine (yang meridian):
Involved in letting go — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally
Helps create space for the new
Represents clarity, decision-making, setting limits, and feeling what no longer serves you
The Breath as a Bridge
In this workshop, we use the breath as a bridge between these two forces:
What do you allow in? (lungs)
What are you ready to release? (large intestine)
Through movement and conscious breathing, we create space in the body — and within.
Practical breathing techniques:
Nose vs. mouth breathing
Belly breathing & psoas release
Stress-reducing tools (e.g. heart coherence breathing)
Feeling and becoming aware of your breath
…
